The Holyoke Community College Adult Learning Center is an evening GED preparation program committed to providing high quality programming to community members free of charge.

HCC/ALC is located on the third floor of CareerPoint, 850 High St, Holyoke, MA 01040. Classes held Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00-8:30 p.m.

HCC/ALC Offers Four Levels of Classes:

• ABE: (Adult Basic Education) Offers academic support for student’s grade level equivalence 3-5

• Pre-GED: Offers academic support for students’ grade level equivalence 6-8

• GED: Offers academic support for students’ grade level equivalence 9-12

• Fast Track Math: Offers math support two nights a week from 6:00-8:00 p.m. (recommended for students who have passed all areas of the GED exam except math.)
  

HCC/ALC offers Additional Support Services:

• Academic Support Services

• Counseling Services including: career counseling, academic counseling, and referral services

• Referrals to Juntos Partnering Agencies: Care Center, HolyokeWorks, HALO, CEP, and New England Farm Workers Coalition (NEFWC)

• Register customers at CareerPoint

• Transition to College support services
